Richard Billingham Panoramic exhibition

An older time
When the land was first formed
Bleak grey rugged edges stare out to sea

Darkly wintered
Muffled tumbling of ever shifting waves
Scrubby salted grass-topped cliffs
Stand ancient

Wind ruffled foam
Strikes the bitten beaches
The end of the land wide open to the skies

Shoreline was inspired by Richard Billingham’s Panorama – Dusk II

Kim Lane was born in Surrey and worked in London as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator. An enthusiastic writer in her spare time she particularly enjoys creating word pictures in various forms. She lives in Brighton enjoying the city, the landscapes and the sea.
